The Essentiality of Slow Productivity

Cal Newport's new book just came in the mail today as I am starting my new website. The focus on doing fewer things better will be important during this upcoming season as I work on my new site. Even with these blogs that I am writing now I can't do this while working extensively on the other. Writing a long series of blogs can easily take up a week. I am really looking forward to how the book and the extras available on pre-order will effect my workload in the upcoming year.

I have now finished the book I can say that it is fantastic! I gradually learned earlier on in life that the many values of working slow. Yet having an entire book spelling it out like this shows how critical it is to knowledge work. There is a book review channel I watch that does a great review of this book. I highly recommend that you check out his take on it!
